How to get to Little India by MRT

Little India is served by its own interchange on the North-East and Downtown lines, with exits leading straight into the neighbourhood. The Tekka Centre and Serangoon Road shops begin right outside.

Getting there by MRT

  1. Ride the North-East line or the Downtown line to Little India station.
  2. Exit toward Tekka Centre and Serangoon Road.
  3. The temples, shops and food stalls spread out along and around Serangoon Road.

Tips for the trip

  • Weekends are busiest, with the area drawing large crowds in the evenings.
  • Little India connects directly to Chinatown on the Downtown line if you want to see both districts.
