How to get to Singapore Zoo by MRT

The nearest MRT station to Singapore Zoo is Khatib, on the North-South Line. Continue with the Mandai Khatib Shuttle (or a public bus) to the wildlife parks.

Then: the Mandai Khatib Shuttle (or a public bus) to the wildlife parks.

The Mandai wildlife parks, including the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders and Bird Paradise, do not sit next to an MRT station. The practical approach is to take the train to Khatib and then connect by shuttle or bus for the last stretch into Mandai.

Getting there by MRT

  1. Ride the North-South line to Khatib station.
  2. Connect to Mandai using the Mandai Khatib Shuttle or a public bus toward the wildlife parks.
  3. Springleaf station on the Thomson-East Coast Line is another approach from the north with its own bus connections.

Tips for the trip

  • Because the last leg is a bus or shuttle rather than rail, build in extra buffer time, especially for a timed Night Safari entry.
  • The four parks are clustered together, so it is common to combine two in one visit.

Lines serving Khatib
