How to get to Orchard Road by MRT

Nearest MRT station
OrchardNS22TE14

Then: a direct exit into the malls.

Orchard station sits beneath the shopping belt, with exits connecting directly into the malls above. The North-South and Thomson-East Coast lines both stop here, so the city's main retail strip is one of the best-connected places on the network.

Getting there by MRT

  1. Ride the North-South line or the Thomson-East Coast line to Orchard station.
  2. Take the exits that connect directly into ION Orchard and the surrounding malls.
  3. The shopping belt runs in both directions along Orchard Road from the station.

Tips for the trip

  • Most of the major malls are linked by sheltered walkways and underground passes, which helps in rain or heat.
  • Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut stations bookend the strip if you want to walk one way and ride back.
